International League for the protection of horses!
Having lived my entire life with horses as part of my soul, I can remember visiting ILPH when I studied to become a Riding instructor. Their amazing work goes on, and I can remember the same campaign was running when I visited them.. and STILL to this day, it is continuing. STOP THE LIVE EXPORT OF HORSES TO EUROPE FOR SLAUGHTER!
Horses will always be dear to my heart, and this is a massive problem for equines. Please click the link where you can read a bit more about it. Needless suffering and pain, fear and the inability to understand just why they have fallen prey to the hands of those who hurt them .. in the name of money.. but a horse cannot understand that. It is so very sad, but knowing more about the cause, and talking about it, will always help. If there was a lack in demand for this, it would stop. So talk about it, tell people you oppose this and never ever eat horse meat. It is not a delicassy it was someones friend.
