In these last few weeks, ive been arranging different things and stretched to the limits, Ivan has beaten me to it to submit the photos i have of the 2nd Fiesta de Galgos. I will now put myself into action and get them downloaded. Meanwhile take a peek at the ones Ivan has... they are GREAT!
The 2nd fiesta de Galgos was a delight, it was amazing and i was so thrilled so many people attended. I felt truly proud, its a unique offering of special people, who also got to see 1st hand, a rescue and just how a dog comes in when its on its last legs, skin and pure bone. Whilst walking amongst the olive groves looking for bruno, I saw a few metres ahead a small figure fall to the floor. whiteness crumbled before my eyes. Slowing my pace as i reached her, I saw a skeletal boxer, on her last legs. Beaten by the cold, the hunger, the wounds, the effort of trying, and the fear of being moved on, she lay and submitted to being scooped up into my arms. For she could do no other, she was so weak. Itd be nice if her new family named her Fiesta, for this was her day. She, a boxer was taken back with fermin from Scooby assoc. and she has a new home awaitng her. God bless baby girl, and Good luck.
Enjoy the photos, Ill submit mine soon.
