Every year there are thousands of cases of animal abuse in this country, Spain. Some who inflict torture are brought to justice, many are not! There is little an animal can do when it falls into the hands of their torturer, its in the lap of the God's when an animal come into the hands of a human - as to the life they will lead, "good, or bad" - they seem to have no voice, they cannot speak... they put up with and endure the starvation, the thirst, the pain, the numerous beatings, the EXTREME neglect that many face, in some of the cruelest "refuges as in the Cadiz case" - many on the streets, or looked into sheds... there for their owners to take their frustrations out onto.
Its extreme and MASSIVE the problem that Spain has with their animals, lack of education, lacking in the will to care, the government proud of their country... as much as the murderers who inflict pain and torture on animals the government have blood on their hands, just the same!
This happens, its real, it's in its thousands. When you next feed your dog a bowl of breakfast, walk him, tend to his every need, think of those in pain and awaiting the kind hand of courage to come in and rescue them, how long will they have to wait?
