So.... there I was sitting at the table thinking to myself " I just cant handle it anymore" case after case.. then TEO arrived in my INBOX. POOR TEO!
The raw pain these galgos feel at the disreguard of man is shameful, dispicable. I have no words other than reapplying my promise.. I will do all I can for the Galgos in Spain, - each cas touches you in some way, some just take your heart. This little guy needs an experianced home to recover in. Details below if you think your home can be shared in love and light, and knowledge.

Según la última actualización 16.01 (telefónica) sobre este y otros galgos rescatados, TEO está francamente mal y lo está pasando muy mal; está muy deteriorado emocionalmente, y cómo ya se nos informaba hace un par de días: "ES MUY MIEDOSO, HUYE DE LAS PERSONAS", se ruega por favor a alguien con experiencia y/o saber hacer que quiera ofrecerle un hogar de acogida (incluso de adopción) que se ponga en contacto con:

71CMS AND WEIGHS 21 KILOS. IS VERY SCARED AND HIDES FROM PEOPLE. AT THE SAME TIME YOU NOTICE HE LIKES STROKES. TIMID AND CALM, PASSIVE. HE IS FULL OF WOUNDS AND WE HAVE TAKEN AN ANALYSIS OF BLOOD. HE HAS TREMENDOUS DIAHORREA, SAD AND CLOSED OFF. THEY ARE ALL IN OBS WITH ANTIBIOTICS AND ENOUGH FOOD AND VITAMINS.

ES MÁS GRANDE QUE LAS DEMÁS, MIDE 71 CMS Y PESA 21 KILOS. ES MUY MIEDOSO, HUYE DE LAS PERSONAS. PERO AL MISMO TIEMPO SE NOTA QUE LE GUSTAN LAS CARICIAS. ES TÍMIDO, TRANQUILO Y PACÍFICO. VA LLENO DE HERIDAS, LE HEMOS SACADO SANGRE PARA HACERLE UNA ANALITICA. TIENE UNA DIARREA TREMENDA, ESTÁ MUY TRISTE Y APAGADO. Photo Competition
Sighthound Welfare Trust is currently running an online photo competition. All monies raised will be used to support Ciudad Animal, a shelter in Spain.
The Shelter has been flooded; the dogs are standing in inches of water without being able to get out onto dry land. There will also be issues with sanitation and feeding and a host of problems once the water subsides with bacteria.
There are four categories for the Photo Competition; 'best unwrapper', 'most uninterested in presents', 'dog most full of Christmas fodder' and 'winter wonderland'. Entries are £1, but there is one free category for supporters to enter. There are some great prizes up for grabs in this competition.

3 Galgas y una pondenca Mayor en su ultimos dias... hasta........

Bueno que semana llevamos....... pero un caso que ha tocado las corazones de unas personas quien trabajan con Galgos presentaba la semana pasado. Corriendo con el tiempo MUY justo para salvar las vidas y unidos en diferente partes de España.. quiero compartir este historia para que puedes realizar y ver como es un rescate, y como cambias la vida de un trise caso.. para ser un caso que ya solo empiece para cambiar sus vidas.

Llego el caso la semana pasado a mi email. Directamente he difundido el caso para ver sialguien lo han recibido tambien, y entre Telma una buena amiga mia, Silvia y Vera el caso empezo. Un caso de 3 galgas eskeleticas y un podenca viejita.. encerrados en una perrera en Jaen esperando su dia final. Que venia justo!!!! Y que sabia ellas?Un monstro quien tenia ellas asi pues cuando no vale dejaban elas alli para morir. Hay mas.. que en algunos sitios tambien pagan para dejar tu perro alli, como premio de no tirar tu perro por la calle!!!!

Bueno el caso venia y entre de unos contactos pues nadia puede mirar hacia el otro lado. Y que crees??? Las associaciones, las personas quien esta interesados tiene milliones de euros para reparar galgos pagar viajes.. gastos de sacar los perros de alli de un ascaroso sitio.. No, no lo tiene pero encuentran de alguna manera para salvar una vida, o 3 galgas y una podenquita mayorcita!

Pasando el caso, entre los contactos y una chica alli, pues al final venia una galguita asustadita a una persona increible Vera, quien le hacen muchissimo para los galgos. Alguien quien estaba desesperada para que llegaba por MRW.. y me dice que tiene que empezar de nuevo con ella. Con 2 años que tiene... que vida tenia, y que vida va a tener.

Las otras se fue con una persona maravillosa en valencia Silvia, que tampoco ella no ha podido decir que no. Entre todas hemos visto este caso desenrollar, seguiendo todos los pasos para que estas 4 perros no mueren asi. Y ya estan a salvos. Ahora el trabajo empiece, las curas, el peso, el MIEDO que tiene por ser nacido galga en España!

Queridas amigas quien ha rescatados estas galgas y podenca, silvia, Vera, y Telma en USA este caso pesaba mucho en mi mente, en mi corazon, no lo he podido dejar, incluso a noche soñaba con este caso. Quiero decir os GRACIAS por ser como sois.

WHAT A WEEK WEVE HAD.. AND THEN CAME A CASE WHICH JUST MOVED ME. I WANTED TO SHARE IT WITH YOU BECAUSE YOU CAN SEE HOW A RESCUE TAKES PLACE AND JUST HOW LIVES ARE CHANGED.

IN A KILLING STATION IN JAEN A PLEA WAS MADE FOR 3 GALGAS AND AN OLD PODENCA. THEY LOOKED HORRENDOUSLY EMACIATED AND SHAMED. THEIR DAYS VERY LIMITED AND THEY HAD BEEN LEFT BY SOME MONSTOR TO KILL THEM. IN SOME PLACES IT EVEN WORKS WHERE YOU LEAVE YOUR DOG AND YOU GET CASH FOR IT, AS OPPOSE TO DUMPING IT ON THE STREET - YA KNOW LIKE YOU HAVE A PRIZE FOR HAVING DONE SOMETHING GOOD! LET ME TELL YOU GALGUEROS YOU HAVE BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS.

THE CASE CAME THROUGH LAST WEEK AND ALL HANDS ON DECK BETWEEN A TEAM WHICH KEPT PASSING THE CASE BETWEEN US, IT JUST GRABBED US ALL. BETWEEN DIFFERENT AREAS IN SPAIN, RESCUES TAKE PLACE. UNITED IN TEAM WORK TO SAVE A LIFE OR IN THIS CASE 4.. AND IT FEELS SO GOOD WHEN IT CAN HAPPEN. THANKFULLY ONE OF THE BRINDLES HAD A FOSTER MOMMY WAITING DESPERATELY FOR HER .. VERA WITH ARMS WIDE OPEN AND A WARM HEART. SHE ARRIVED TUESDAY BY MRW AND SHE SAYS ITS LIKE STARTING FROM ZERO. A TWO YEAR OLD DOG WHOS LIVED IN HELL. THE OTHER 2 GALGAS WENT WITH SILVIA AND THE PODENCA.

MY THANKS GO TO YOU ALL TELMA SILVIA VERA.. FOR BEING THE TEAM AND THE PEOPLE YOU ARE. THIS CASE WEIGHED HEAVILY ON MY HEART, I COULD NOT STOP THINKING AND CHASING UP DETAILS, INFACT LAST NIGHT I DREAMT ABOUT IT.

I AM HONOURED TO WORK WITH YOU ALL! Bless you all and a new start for these special girls!

En los peores momentos de unos associaciones.. mirando tus galgos, tus perros, tu associacion flotando en agua es bastante para levantar tus manos hacia el cielo y preguntar PORQUE??? Mas sufriemientio????? Mas labor??????? Mas enfermedades para nuestros perros???? Y despues, rapidamente piensas AYUDA!!!!!!!!!!! Desde el momento que las associaciones piden ayuda asi, hay gente con corazones tan grandes y aman a los animales y respetan el labor que hacen (como yo siempre lo llaman) los angeles de guardia para los perros, galgos, - y todos se pone en accion. GRIN recibio unos donativos para ayudar a San Anton, ayuda para Ciudad Animal. Incluso si ves en las fotos abajo un galguito negro, y cuello blanco en la esquina de la foto abajo, solo ese parte de su cuerpo el esta con nosotros.

Tampoco no podemos mirar sin ofrecer ayuda. Aun que sea algo poco, pero mucho para un galgo. Esta con su mami de acogeida lisa y calentito. Ojala podria hacer magico y ayudar a todos.

Habia mucho interes y para desear todos un año mejor...

In the worst moments of an association, looking at your galgos, your dogs, your buildings floating in water you raise your hands up to the sky and ask WHY???????? More suffering? more labour? More sickness for our animals? then you think HELP!!!!!!!!! From that moment on when the plea is made help comes in. However big or small every single cent helps in circumstances so radical nd so dangerous. Many have a love for the galgos, for the dogs, and respect the works of whom i always call the guardian angels and so this is enough to provoke interest and concern. From across the shores in America great interest has been made and donations coming in for the hel of San Anton and Ciudad Animal. Likewise we couldnt sit back, and if looking at the plea below for ciudad Animal with the photos, when you see a galgo in the corner a grey nose, a white neck, well he is now warm and snug with a new foster Mommy Lisa. its not much, but for him its a new world!
